Mr. Field is a graduate of Villanova University and New York Law School. Mr. Field is a founding member of Field & Kawczynski and dedicates the majority of his professional time to the defense of claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and its extensions. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to the Longshore Act.

Mr. Kawczynski is a graduate of Boston College and Villanova University School of Law.  Prior to founding Field & Kawczynski, Mr. Kawczynski clerked for a two-year term for the Honorable Robert D. Kaplan, District Chief Administrative Law Judge for the U.S. Department of Labor in Camden, New Jersey, whereby he prepared decisions and orders in connection with Longshore Act, Black Lung Benefits and workplace standards cases. Thereafter, he worked at a major insurance defense firm in Philadelphia for five years.  Mr. Kawczynski is a frequent author and lecturer on Longshore related topics. He also serves on the advisory board to the Benefits Review Board Service-Longshore Reporter.  He is also the Municipal Prosecutor in South Amboy,  Metuchen, and Piscataway.
